This fall, Timberland unveiled new packaging for its footwear products aimed at reducing the company’s environmental footprint. The new packaging, made of environmentally-friendlier materials, 100 percent post-consumer waste fiber, soy based inks and water-based solvents in place of chemical glues, features the “Our Footprint” ingredient label. This industry-leading transparency initiative provides consumers with information about the making of the boots or shoes.
