I heard Dixon speak at a conference in Boston in February 2009 put on by Starting Bloc. Much like in this post, his words were dead on. And yet, most of the "young leaders/professionals" in the room felt he was too abstract and not practical enough, where as most of them all swooned at Tom Szaky's TerraCycle for being more real-world-ready. And yet, I got the feeling that following TerraCycle still brings us to world collapse as it doesn't fix the consumption problem in the system - Global System Change attempts to.

Regardless, as someone who wants to go to MBA school to better help social innovations/ventures/enterprises, I'm skeptical of the current pedagogy if I'm going to learn non-systems thinking, and metrics that will "destroy the world" so to speak. Any tips on "new age" system competent programs?
