Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan
President-elect Obama has detailed his American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan. Among other efforts in the plan, major initiatives include the intention to create 3 million jobs in the United States by doubling the production of alternative energy; investments in public transit infrastructure, and the weatherization of 75% of federal buildings and aiding up to two million low-income American homes to do the same (and thus save money).

Unfortunately, the the earlier bailouts and this stimulus plan have almost nothing to help preserve the 70 million jobs provided by America’s small businesses.

I think law makers all over the country realize the dire economic straits the nation is facing and the need for action. Time is of essence, or our great grandchildren could still be dealing with the economic fallout. This is an ambitious plan, but we have an ambitious president now who could make this suceed. This is not going to work We need to think out of the box. We have learned nothing over the past 200 years.
Obama is tying to do to much, and none of them are the right things to be doing.
It looks like he is trying to just cover all his promises.
