China’s Nippon Paint has teamed with BASF Corporation to launch a CSR initiative in China called “EColor.” The partnership has three broad goals, focusing on nature, the economy and social responsibility, and developing greener paint. The Chinese paint producer aims to reduce pollution and reduce energy costs during production to enhance its CSR practices. In addition, Nippon Paint has launched the country’s first green bank to integrate its five major CSR programs.

Pacific Continental Bank has received an award from the Portland Business Journal as one of the top ten companies in charitable giving to Oregon and southwest Washington nonprofits.
