Since the KONY2012 phomenon (it’s more than a meme, right?), I’ve been resisting the urge to blog about it. I raged on my The Facebook wall and on Google+ about it, but I just wanted it to go away, rather than give it more attention; I’ve already offended enough people for calling them idiots for getting sucked into it. But finally, I had to jump in.
TMZ is reporting that Invisible Children, Inc. cofounder and Kony-filmmaker Jason Russell was reportedly getting naked in an intersection at home in San Diego. So far we know he’s not being charged with a crime, is locked up and under eval on a 5150 (psychiatric hold), and Invisible Children’s CEO says that he is suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition.
