The environmental problems are complex, and the solutions need to work in a synergistic fashion. It’s refreshing to see this administration maintain an open dialogue on how we’re going to address the topic of climate change.
For the first time it feels as though someone in government is not just listening, but actually soliciting input from the general population.

What are the chances? 100%.
I sleuthed all the McCain (50 -since 1993) and Obama (24 – since 2005) voting records for another online site and found that Obama had a near perfect voting record, almost exactly aligned with Barbara Boxer, on environmental renewable energy votes.Despite all our scares over that “clean coal” talk…
Plus we now have effectively a 60 vote working Senate, which when we only had 51 votes, was not able to withstand the 93 filibusters of energy votes.
There are 60 renewable energy voters because 4 others voted reliably for renewables too – 2 Republicans: Snowe and Collins, and 2 Independants: Lieberman and Sanders – all 4 of these have always voted with the Democrats.
So we are now there. So I am 100% sure that this will be the greenest administration since the 70’s.
