The Alliance for Sustainable Colorado advances environmental, economic and social sustainability in Colorado for present and future generations.  The Alliance is sowing a seed for a statewide sustainability movement in Colorado, which is envisioned to become part of a network of statewide sustainability movements across the country.

  • The Alliance Center – an office building for non-profit tenants and meeting place for collaboration with non-tenants.
  • CASBA – the Colorado Alliance of Sustainable Business Associations
  • Building Colorado Coalition – is promoting high performance buildings throughout Colorado.
  • Educational programs – speakers series; tours of the Alliance Center, which is registered for two LEED certifications; partnerships with universities and colleges for classes
  • Capacity building – workshops and trainings for non-profit staff
  • Collaborative partnerships – including the Apollo Alliance and City of Denver Greenprint Council
  • The long-term goal of the Alliance is to create a national center where sustainability advocates from around the nation will have a place to meet, exchange ideas, learn, and plan.  A capital campaign will be undertaken in 2007 to raise funds for an adjoining building to expand the Alliance Center and open the national center
