The Fiske Guide to Colleges has been an invaluable resource for college-bound students for the past 25 years. Even USA Today calls it “the best college guide you can buy.” The author, Edward B. Fiske, highlights over 300 of the country’s best and most interesting colleges and universities. Including lists of the strongest majors and programs at each college; list of schools with strong programs for learning disabled students; and indexes that break down schools by price and state.
This year it is exciting to see the revised and updated 2011 edition of the Fiske Guide feature the top 10 environmental studies undergraduate degree programs.
Below is the list of 10 as reported by Mother Nature Network…
- Colby College – In small-town Maine, an ideal perch to study the environment.
- College of the Atlantic – Tiny college for alternative types that is totally devoted to human ecology.
- University of California, Davis – Renowned for its research and innovation in the environmental, agricultural and biological sciences.
