The Carrier Corporation has created the Advan TE3C Solutions Center, a new team of experts in energy efficiency, sustainability, and the environment. The Center will work with Carrier customers across regions globally to develop strategic and custom-engineered solutions for heating and cooling systems, using new technology to produce greater energy efficiency. The group’s purpose is to drive innovation in commercial design while producing more sustainable buildings.
Central and Eastern Europe Microfinance Holdings has acquired three microfinance institutions in Albania, Poland, and Russia. The three MFIs add 28,000 customers and 66 branches to CEE. The Dutch company is a public LLC that owns institutions that lend to micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises in financially underserved markets, with a special focus on the Central and Eastern European regions.
