There are two new apps that help environmentally conscious businesses and consumers find and compare the most the most eco-friendly cities and cars. The Clean & Fuel Efficient Cars App and Modes of Transportation to Work App by FindTheBest.com.

The Clean & Fuel Efficient Cars App displays air pollution score, greenhouse gas score, SmartWay designation, and miles per gallon city and highway.

Modes of Transportation to Work App looks at things like worker population, percentages that work from home, walk to work, carpool, or use alternative vehicles like motorcycles. Looking open a new location and want to encourage employees to walk to work? As part of your location-selection process, you might try cities where the employee pool is already predisposed to walking. Use the filter tool and the little sliding bars to locate them. But watch out. The sliding bars are addicting and you won’t get much planning done.
