We all probably know about Kickstarter and Indiegogo, which are excellent platforms for crowdfunding products and projects, but when it comes to initiatives that aren’t consumer-focused, what is an organization to do when they need to raise money from the crowd?
Soon, they’ll be able to take advantage of a new platform for crowdfunding and crowdsourcing that focuses on environmental initiatives, called WorthWild:
WorthWild is a crowdfunding/crowdsourcing platform that helps individuals and organizations get funds, volunteers and feedback for environmental initiatives. We focus on three areas: environmental education, conservation and environmental innovation.
Our Mission:
To create and support alliances of individuals and institutions that fund, educate, innovate and lead environmental initiatives for the protection of wild people, wild places and wildlife.

A beta version of the platform will be launching in November, at which point individuals and organizations can support initiatives of others, start their own initiative, and explore WorthWild’s environmental forums and educational sections to help move conservation and innovation knowledge in those areas forward.
If you’re interested in being a part of a new method for supporting the green movement, you can sign up at their website to get updates, or send them an email at info @ worthwild.com.
