Wouldn’t it be cool if there were an online daily newspaper made up of the things that top environmental reporters thought were worth sharing? It’s not only possible, it’s here thanks to a new service called Paper.li (which I first heard about on the excellent podcast For Immediate Release) which allows you to turn a Twitter stream into an easy to read daily newspaper.
A while ago I developed a Twitter list of nearly 200 green journalists which is now followed by more than 150 people. From the list, I created a green journalists Daily that includes the links shared by journalists like Andy Revkin of the New York Times, Bryan Walsh of Time Magazine, Kate Sheppard of Mother Jones as well as prolific bloggers like Marc Gunther and Katie Fehrenbacher. Could you ask for a better daily newspaper?
I also created a Twitter list of green communicators and from that created a green communicators Daily. Paper.li can also be used to make newspapers from a hashtag like #green or #eco or they can be made from one person and their followers like @nathanschock.
